Mentee and Mentor Needs Assessment Surveys
To assist departments with their mentoring efforts, the Mentoring Academy Council (MAC) has prepared two needs assessment surveys that assess the state of mentoring amongst the faculty. The surveys can be used as a means of assessing the baseline state of mentorship, identifying areas of need, or as a means of matching mentees and mentors.
The questions have been adapted wherever possible from validated and published material and are offered as a starting guide. Department leaders can import the survey (see qsf instructions), personalize the introduction for their intended survey purpose, select, delete, or adapt questions for more tailored use The overarching goal for use of these needs assessment instruments is to strengthen mentorship structures and relationships in our departments.
Please be sure to read the Qualtrics instructions on how to import QSF files into your Qualtrics account prior to downloading the assessments.
